During his visit to India, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the positive developments taking place in bilateral relations between India and Ukraine. He shared this during an interview aired on the national TV marathon United News from New Delhi.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that India is gradually changing its understanding of Russia's war against Ukraine and clearly realizes that Ukrainian-Indian relations have a great future.

"If we compare the state of our relations in the first year of the war and now, we can observe significant positive changes. New Delhi sees Ukraine as an important partner," emphasized Dmytro Kuleba.

The Minister noted that Ukraine appreciates India's desire to establish sustainable peace in our country and its comprehensive participation in meetings on the implementation of President Zelensky's Peace Formula. According to him, Ukraine is working jointly with India and other countries to involve them in the Global Peace Summit, which will take place in Switzerland.

Dmytro Kuleba outlined three key tasks for the development of relations between Ukraine and India.

"The first task is to return the level of cooperation in trade and the political sphere to the pre-war level. The pre-war level means multi-billion-dollar trade between our countries, which primarily means attracting money into Ukraine's economy, creating jobs, and selling Ukrainian goods worldwide; it means prospective joint developments in high-tech fields; it means Indian companies entering the Ukrainian market.

The second task is to work on new projects and programs that will take Ukrainian-Indian relations to a new level.

"The third task is the Peace Formula. India's further participation in the implementation of the Peace Formula will be an important signal to many countries in the region that orient themselves towards New Delhi, convincing them to join President Zelensky's initiative," the Minister emphasized.

Dmytro Kuleba also announced that Ukrainian diplomacy is working on organizing visits by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ukraine and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to India.
