The assistance of the United States will strengthen the Ukrainian army in the fight against the aggressor state, Russia. The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak emphasized this on the air of the American TV channel Newsmax.

He thanked the people of the United States, the Congress, both parties, President Joseph Biden and his administration for the decision in support of Ukraine.

"This is primarily about strengthening our ability to continue the fight. Over these two years, we have shown that we know how to fight and how to win. I do not believe that there will be any further escalations, but I believe that this will help Ukraine secure a just peace on our lands," the Head of the Presidential Office said.

Andriy Yermak also noted that the decision to approve the aid package is important as Putin and his troops intensify their attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.

The Head of the President's Office expressed his belief that all partners know exactly what Ukraine needs most: ammunition, artillery, air defense systems and long-range missiles.

"This is what our heroes, our warriors, truly need to defend and further liberate our lands. After all, this is our goal," summarized Andriy Yermak.
