This year's Ukrainian Ship Modeling Championship, which took place in Vinnytsia, was marked by the victory of the Odessa port plant blacksmith Valeriy Kharet in his class.

Over 150 models from various parts of Ukraine participated in the competition, and Valeriy Kharet once again emerged victorious.

The competition took place in the C-3 class, where Valeriy presented his handmade model of the French frigate LA VENUS from 1782. His work was praised not only for its aesthetics and detail but also for its high level of craftsmanship.

The conducted competition was an opportunity to select a team to participate in the International European Championship in Bulgaria.

Valeriy Kharet is a person who has turned ship modeling into his hobby, and later into his art. This is not the first time he has won such competitions.
